ATTENTION PL People!

If you are doing or planning or hoping to do a Project Life (PL) during 2013, would you be interested in some friendly competition and prizes and encouragement to keep you going?

I know that *I* would like to do a project life in 2013. I'm not sure exactly what the format will look like BUT I do like encouragement (and know I'll need it!) a challenge to keep me motivated and PRIZES!! I love prizes.

Are you planning to do this weekly, monthly??
Davinie Fiero is doing a combo PL/Project 12 this year that looks like a great combo of both projects.

When you say you are thinking along those lines, do you mean doing a 2 page spread once a month?

I've been thinking about this too. The problem I am having is that my scrapbooking is already about everyday life, so how do I do a project life album? Just put one lo a week/month into a separate album? Do a LO about each month for the album? Fill an album with specific everyday things we do - like homework, baking, story reading, barn chores, etc?

Sure, I plan on doing a combo of PL/Project 365/52 weeks of lists

I've been taking the pictures so far, I'm just not sure what I will do with them. For me it's a matter of getting them off my device & into printed form.

I'm doing Project Life - done my Cover Page and working on my first week which is a 2 pager by the looks of things

OK I will set this up today.

It will be up to each participant to determine WHAT they are going to do (write out their goals for us) and HOW they are going to do it (2 layouts/month; PL kit; digital; SMASH-type pages; whatever)

We all have our own individual schedules - some are way busier than others - so I'm leaving it up to you to determine YOUR goals for a Project Life 2013. If you are going to do it monthly, I think I'd like to see at least two 2-page layouts for the month; or four 1-page layouts. You can include one photo that describes the week or you can include 7 if that's your choice.

Anyway... just thinking out loud here. I will be a little less groggy in a few hours and will get this up and running!

We (the DT) here at SoS will be giving prizes, challenges, encouragements, tips, and tidbits to keep you going through 2013. So just know you will not be traveling 2013 alone!

Yaaah! I spoke with dd about this a couple of days ago, and we are IN! As of right now, we're planning one layout a week.

I'm thinking about this one....I'm taking my DD#2 and DS to Disney World for two weeks so not sure if I can fit this into my schedule. Plus I'm still just a little confused....Do I scrapbook anything I want or does it have to be about what happens each week/month?

I was going to get to a new post on this today, Marie, but have had a sore mouth from the dentist today and trouble wtih the site this afternoon so haven't gotten to it yet.

I think I will do mine with a journaling binder or small photo binder.

awesome....I'd love to do it I just need some guidance on what and how it works.

I'm going to have to do some thinking. I downloaded Project 365 to my ipod touch and it's nice because it keeps the photos in a little calendar & you can add a description. BUT, I went to put them on my computer & into photoshop & they are showing up as a 2x2 photo. Little small. Especially for only 7 of them on a big 12x12 page. Not sure what I'm going to do yet....

Marie, several forum people have posted their own Project Life albums. There is quite a variety out there in the internet world. I'd recommend perusing some of the threads and google project life so you can get a handle on it before you commit. We will be asking a lot from the girls who want to "play" with us in this contest!

I'll take some photos (won't be great) of my own PL album from a couple of years ago. I started it and then Whoosh! my life got way too busy and I couldn't keep up! This time I'm committing to staying the course!

Just waiting on a final go-ahead from the forum powers that be to post the contest.
