Week 1 - Tech Class #1

Welcome to our Summer School Technique Class!! This month I will be teaching you some techniques that you can use on your layouts, cards, or art projects!! I hope you join me and learn something along the way!

The first technique is easy!!

This is what you need for this technique.....



- Bubble Wrap (Iused a piece 6x6", you can use any size!)
- Paint (I used Golden Cobalt Teal Acrylic Paint)
- Paint Brush
-Cardstock (I used a piece 6X6", but you can use whatever size, or even use it on a background of a laayout).

- NOTE: You can use ink for this, but the design is not as crisp as if you used paiint.

First, you paint the bubble side of the bubble wrap....



Then you place the painted side down on the piece of cardstock and press gently....





And Voila.... you have an awesome background for a card or use it on your layout!



You have until July 25th at 8pm EST to show me your piece of cardstock using this technique for 1 point!

You will have until July 25th at 8pm to use this technique on a card or layout to earn 3 points.

And for some Brownie points..... if you use this technique AND make a card or use it as a background on a layout, and have it done before next Wednesdays' challenges are posted.... you will get 5 points!!!

When do we get to 'pop' the bubbles? LOL

Pop them after you clean them off.. but then again.. why not get messy.. pop away Carol!

Carol, she wouldn't say to get messy if this wasn't virtual school.

Teacher all my bubbles are popped, I love popping those bubbles.

Quite playing with the bubbles Colleen.... or I will send you into the corner!

All that bubble-popping is making me lose focus!

LOL!!

But it helps me to feel so much better to just jump up and down and pop them.
