April 27th - Arbor Day- GAME - closed- ++WINNER+ announced.

Arbor Day (from the Latin arbor, meaning tree) is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant and care for trees. It originated in Nebraska City, Nebraska, United States by J. Sterling Morton. The first Arbor Day was held on April 10, 1872, and an estimated one million trees were planted that day.

Many countries now observe a similar holiday. Though usually observed in the spring, the date varies, depending on climate and suitable planting season. Today is Arbor Day in the States, so we are going to celebrate by doing this little quiz I have made for you!

LOL! Yes, I was leaving for the w'end crop that day so left the quiz for my DH to do - I figured he'd have fun with it since he is soooo interested in trees. He had to try a few times to send his answers though (he must have been hitting preview intead of send). He did enjoy the game and was quite anxious to see how he did!
