My dog has a thing for SOCKS!!!

I'm going to go around the house and count up the socks she has lying around, ok! Some are clean and some are dirty. If she happens to catch you when you're taking them off, she'll grab it and run off. She is here RIGHT now trying to pull my sock off my foot! We have a basket of clean socks in the hallway and she'll pull socks out of that too.

...final count- 12 socks and 1 mitten!

I housesat for some people and their dog had a thing for underwear - very annoying!

LOL! Too funny Deanne!!!! Mitty (our kitten, 1 yr old now) is like that!! Peter has his uniform laid out night before, for work, & the crazy cat STEALS the BIG fat heavy military sox. One night I found the cat lying asleep on the bath mat w/ 1 pr of Peter's work sox and one pr of Daniel's sox-- all neatly rolled up, mind you, beside him!

Silly cat~ he has done this since VERY young. He also does it w/ mittens! He was forever stealing 1 of every pair I would have laid out the nite before for the kids' schoolbus dressing time.

It literally got so bad that I took to HIDING Daniel's sox under his laid-out pants... and hiding the kids' mitts under their snow jackets or in the sleeve!

Honestly! That cat's name is MITTENS (Mitty) for a reason!

I love funny pet stories!

Funny!!! You named her well!!!

Meika goes into Nathan's room in the mornings NOT to see Nathan but to grab a sock from him.And believe me, Nathan has a sock or 2 lying on the floor so to Meika, Nathan's room is a goldmine!!!!

Poor Meika though, I have all the socks picked up now,so she has to start her collection all over again!!!

Believe it or not, the kids' at Pony Club Camp, up at the barn, named him last summer! (Remember, he was the tiny tiny one no-one thought would ever live, or have a home? Peter brought him home... cheers

)

He has 4 white sox on his feet... hence the name "Mittens"(?) LOL I renamed him Mitty as it seemed a tad more "fun" and is easier to say!

LOL at Meika, she sounds SO adorable and has SUCH a personality! Is she a year old yet? No-- she can't be...her b'day will be in Nov, or at Christmas(ish) time, right?

Yep, her birthday is in Nov. You should see her around the pool!!! We have a huge inflated dolphin (Dolphie III) in the pool just floating around and she barks her head off at it!!! She must think it's alive!!! I've had to close the patio door and close the blinds so she can't see it floating around!!! I took a video so I'll see if I can post it.

Oh my, socks and Chena, our black poodle....She loves to eat socks and, oh my, that is a problem!! In particular, she loves trouser sox. We are so diligent about putting socks in the hamper where she can't get them but somehow she keeps finding them. We are fortuante in that she has been able to pass them, not a pleasant subject as we have had to help.....

The good news is that since I know longer have to dress for work, I don't wear trouser socks anymore, just big bulky ones that she can't swallow!
